Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable PRT Science Teacher to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Science and a love for teaching young learners, helping them develop curiosity and understanding of the natural world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons aligned with the primary school curriculum.
- Teach foundational concepts in biology, physics, and chemistry in an age-appropriate manner.
- Use hands-on activities, experiments, and interactive teaching strategies to make lessons exciting and meaningful.
- Foster a scientific mindset by encouraging critical thinking, questioning, and problem-solving.
- Regularly assess and monitor students’ progress through assignments, tests, and activities.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning needs.
- Communicate with parents/guardians regarding students’ progress and address any concerns.
- Participate in school activities, workshops, and training programs as required.
RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Science, Education, or a related field.
B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification is preferred.
2-5 years of teaching experience, preferably at the primary level.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Passion for teaching and inspiring curiosity in young learners.
