Role description: 


Senior project and program professional with minimum of 10 years of work experience in the construction and or project and program management industry. With at least 7 years in managing and leading a team in delivering large and complex multi-disciplinary projects and or programs.


Role accountabilities: 


  • Work within established standard operating procedures and systems with clear project objectives to produce delivery outputs, schedules and track budgets, highlighting variances in order to manage and control project delivery targets
  • Deliver/assist to manage small to medium scale projects or programs ensuring appropriate use of resources to deliver the required scope of work within set deadlines
  • Present any project risks or issues to senior managers to ensure the project is not adversely impacted, and ensure that the delivery of projects is  compliant to standards
  • Analyse and review a range of data to identify key themes and trends and use the outputs to produce recommendations that support project decision-making.
  • Use knowledge and experience to review project processes and policies, providing advice to support management in developing and improving processes and systems.
  • Interact effectively across the organisation, completing complex professional level tasks for others in order to ensure projects/programs can be delivered to meet client and customer expectations.
  • Advise colleagues on issues relating to own projects, providing subject matter advice in order to support delivery and ensure there is alignment between policy and operational practice.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and third party contractors, in order to ensure all parties are informed and aware of project progress and expectations.

Knowledge & Experience:


  • Relevant business experience including management of large and complex projects and/or programmes
  • ‘Practitioner’ level expertise in one or more service lines
  • Advanced communication skills, including the ability to liaise with peers and senior colleagues and build and maintain relationships / Advanced interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact and maintain relationships with high-level stakeholders.
  • Building the ability to negotiate and manage relationships with external stakeholders 
  • Commercial acumen and organisational understanding
  • A logical approach and ability to think through complex issues to co-ordinate multi-faceted aspects of projects / Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to navigate through project and team challenges.
  • Extensive knowledge of project and program management methodologies and a general understanding of the wider business
  • Proficiency in project and program management tools and platforms (Smartsheet, PowerBI, Autodesk Construction Cloud, etc.).

Key Qualificaiton: 


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent in a relevant discipline (e.g. Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, Construction Management, etc.), master’s degree an advantage
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in project and program management, preferably within multinational companies or in US, UK, EU, AUS projects. With at least 7 years in managing and leading a team in delivering large and complex multi-disciplinary projects and or programs.
  • Attainment of OR near attainment of relevant professional certification or chartered status (RICS, APM, PMP, PRINCE2, etc.)
  • Familiarity of project and program management methodologies or frameworks (PMI, APM, Agile, etc.)
  • Strong track record of overseeing complex projects and programs, and leading teams to deliver exceptional results.
