The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2300 skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project Management, functional system testing, installation supervision, documentation and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest Operations hub.. The India Operations Centre team at Chennai, Bangalore and Gurugram supports Hitachi Energy’s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Hitachi Energy To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.

In this role, you’ll be in charge of the management of system delivery projects in FACTS (Flexible Alternating Current Transmission Systems) technology, including technical and commercial responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Hold the overall responsibility for the management of assigned multimillion-dollar projects.
Work together with other Hitachi Energy Power Grids units, either as a consortium or main supplier, that you will represent.
Coordinate with stake holders both internal and external to Hitachi Energy Organization
Take initiatives and very often critical decisions that will affect the deliveries of your projects.
Manage, both strategically and operationally, the appropriate use of technical and human resources.
Use your negotiation skills to finalize the terms that would benefit your projects.

Background:
Master’s or bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
Hitachi Energy Project Management Certification or a PMP certification
10+ years of experience in managing HVDC / FACTS / Substation projects with a value of 25 MUSD or higher.
Proficiency in English language.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality digital solutions.
