N/A Possess a solid understanding of the operational processes and systems in the Customs Clearance and Data Entry areas. Proven record of identifying opportunities for process and quality improvement and effecting change. Profit can be measured based on cost avoidance, productivity improvement and Customer Satisfaction. Required to actively review and improve both vendor and country processes to drive service quality, improve productivity and meet process compliance. Perform analysis and process evaluations for the purpose of robot usage and drive Continuous Improvements. Empowered to facilitate and execute change with vendor. The incumbent does not work in a direct line management position and does not have direct control of the vendor or country staff assigned. Good influencing, negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills are required in order to gain sufficient support from the vendor and countries supported.

Business Process Outsourcing is an enabler for reducing unit costs in a host country and improving data quality. By definition offshoring moves the process away from the source, this role provides a strong link between host country and the vendor to ensure opportunities for continuous improvement are realized and supply of resource matches demand. Execute process improvement initiatives using First Choice tools and methodologies with host countries and the BPO vendor. The role operates within the vendor environment which requires confidence, motivation, self reliance and excellent initiative and drive.

• In combination with the vendor, create and maintain documented procedures and controls which include (but is not limited to): Onboarding, Forecasting, Productivity and Quality.
