Project Manager - Digitalization and Automation Projects

Your Role – Challenging, Interesting and Future Oriented

As a Project Manager you are expected to lead our digitalization projects and enable customer as well as our technical ecosystem to make digitalization work.

• Own the overall delivery of project/s as per thescope, cost, time and qualitydefined in the contract
• Responsible forP&Lof project
• Ensure overallcustomer delight and satisfactionin line with contractual obligation
• Prepare, monitor, and progressively update (yes, we follow agile project management)project planfor the implementation
• Facilitating the definition of projectmissions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements
• Resolving or assisting in the resolution ofconflictswithin and between projects or functional areas; adopt the methods defined by thePM@Siemensto monitor project or area progress; and provide corrective supervision when necessary
• Interact regularly with the customer PMO to determine theneeds of the customerand to developplans for improving delivery– requirements and change management
• Mapping and managinginternal and external stakeholdersinvolved in the project execution
• Workcross-functionallyto identify solutions to project challenges
• Co-ordinate with theSite Supervisor / contractors / partnersfor installation, testing and commissioning of deliverables
• Work closely with central EHS team to ensureimplementation of safe practicesat construction sites
• Foresee, identify and mitigaterisks. Identifyopportunitiesof claim and change management in projects.
• Presentregular status reportsdefining plans, problems, and resolutions to the management as per the defined governance plan

• Strong skills inMS Office suite(Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook)
• ProjectScheduling tools(MS Project, Office 365 Project)
• know how will be an added advantage. E.g. JIRA, Planner, Trello, Kan-ban methods, etc.

• In the digital world the requirements keep evolving, Hence,Change Managementskills are a must for this role
• Ability to see thelarger picturein a project
• to manage 6-8 small to midsize digital projects simultaneously
• You will interact with a variety ofstakeholdersincludingCxO levels–Strong people and presentation skillswill be key to success
• Low to moderate Technical / Subject matter expertise – Our tech team is there to support you here
• will be your go to strengths in the continuously changing environment

Experience:

Must:

• 10+ years of overall experience with minimum6+ years of Project Management experienceinManufacturing Industryprojects
• PM@Siemens certification (S- Category) or equivalent external certifications (IPMA / PMI / Prince 2 etc) will be a differentiator

Good to have:

• Managed at least 1-2Industry 4.0 / digitalizationprojects
• Managed projects involvingapplication layer softwares

Mobility:

·Base location for this role is in Kalwa, Mumbai. You will get enough opportunity as a leader of the project to travel to interesting manufacturing sites to understand, witness, review and deliver our projects

Education:

• Graduate Engineer in Computer Science, I.T, Electronics or Electronics and Telecommunication with strong academic track record.
• Master’s degree in business / project management will be an added advantage
