Job Description
Job Title: Project Manager/Delivery head
Location: Kalwa
Job Summary: The Project Manager will oversee the technical and commercial aspects of projects, ensuring they meet the company's standards, timelines, and budget. This role involves strategic planning, resource allocation, and coordination with various stakeholders to achieve project goals while balancing technical requirements and commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage project teams to ensure timely and successful completion of projects.
- Conduct the risk workshop and understanding the scope after getting the order.
- Regularly Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies during the execution.
- Preparation and monitoring of project schedule. Sound knowledge of MS Project.
- Up-dation of reporting tools & MIS
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, partners and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution (Internal & external stakeholder management)
- Ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Manage resource allocation and optimize team performance.
- Balance technical requirements with commercial objectives to maximize project value.
- Conduct regular project reviews and provide status updates to senior management.
- Margin improvement & claims management
- Manage the warranty obligations
- Negotiate contracts and manage vendor/partner relationships along with SCM
- Manage the cash receivables and revenue planning
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project team.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that the quality of service provided by the team for each customer meets or exceeds their expectations.
- Develop and implement project management strategies, methodologies, and best practices.
- Adherence of EHS guidelines
- Support the bid management/offer preparation by evaluating the project management requirement, warranty/maintenance & support requirement and estimation of project management efforts/cost
- Verifying the engineering efforts with the technical sales during the offer preparation stage.
- Discuss the techno-commercial offers with the SCM or with vendors through SCM for both bough out hardware & software.
- High level technical discussion with the HQ/R&D team or external vendors/suppliers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferred electrical engineering.
- Proven experience in project management, with a minimum of 10-15 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience in negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships.
