As a Project Manager in our Finance team you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm.
Associate Projects and Change is responsible for managing and executing global projects across BAU and new business initiatives. Role requires broad understanding of the Trade workflow for FX, Repos, Money Markets, Fixed Income and Interest Rate Swaps products, and Middle Office processes. Project management discipline, solution oriented approach to business problems and initiatives is required
Job Responsibilities :
- Manage global project demand & prioritization for Middle Office
- Evaluate business objectives and analyze high level business requirements that require new systems or existing system enhancements
- Close partnership with technology service providers and business users to set system strategy and project direction, identify cost/benefit impact, and agree on project timelines and priorities
- Organize governance forums to manage stakeholder expectations. Facilitate the success of programs by proper resource allocation & ensure appropriate coverage from all stakeholders
- Ensure cross-impacts are called out with sufficient advance notice. Track issues, mitigate risks and resolve conflicts between programs and projects
- Ensure that all stakeholder communications are managed in a timely manner
- Manage business communications and monthly update to senior stakeholders
- Produce bi-monthly business review management reporting
- Partner with regional Operations (MO and BO) on operation project initiatives
- Participate and represent the MO on firm wide forums for regulatory change.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 5+ years experience in Fixed Income, Repos, FX and/or Money Markets products collaborating with traders and operations in managing business requirements and coordinating technology solutions with a few years of PMO experience managing multiple projects
- Ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels of the organization including senior management
- Stakeholder expectation management and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical, prioritization, multi-tasking and negotiation skills
- Excellent and proven communication skills, both written and verbal in English
