Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team and drive the successful delivery of software projects. As Project Manager, candidate shall be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing software projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. You will coordinate the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan.

Experience Preferred:  14+ yrs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Resource Management: Identify and manage project resources, including team members, contractors, and vendors.
• Schedule Management: Develop detailed project schedules, including milestones, timelines, and dependencies, and ensure adherence.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, issues, and changes.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on time.
• Budget Management: Manage project budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within financial constraints.
• Team Leadership: Foster a collaborative team environment, motivating and guiding team members towards project success.
• Continuous Improvement: Evaluate project performance and implement improvements for future projects.
• Agile Process: Good understanding on Agile process

Qualifications:

• Bachelor / master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in software development.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project).
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Proven experience in program management.
• Proven stakeholder management skills.
• Proven experience managing a team.
• Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
• Competency in Microsoft applications including MS Project, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Understanding of project management.
• Experience with Six Sigma process and tools.
• Exposure to process/product management tools such as DOORS, Rational Rhapsody, Windchill etc.
• Experience in executing passport /stage gate-based development process.
