Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Delivery Manager to oversee end-to-end delivery of projects in the automotive domain. The ideal candidate will ensure successful execution of projects, maintain high-quality standards, and foster collaboration across cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery Management
- Plan, execute, and deliver multiple projects within the automotive domain on time and within budget.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, risks, and quality metrics to ensure compliance with agreed-upon objectives.
- Drive operational excellence by implementing best practices and industry standards.
Client and Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships to understand client needs, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency in project progress.
Team Leadership and Collaboration
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
- Coordinate with engineering, product, quality assurance, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery.
- Encourage continuous learning and skill development within the team.
Automotive Domain Expertise
- Understand the latest trends, technologies, and challenges in the automotive industry, including electric vehicles, connected cars, and autonomous driving.
- Leverage industry knowledge to guide project design, execution, and delivery.
Operational Efficiency
- Optimize resource allocation and utilization to maximize productivity.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance delivery efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - Experience:
- 8–12 years of experience in project management or delivery management, preferably in the automotive industry or IT services.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale projects with global clients.
- Skills:
- Strong project management skills (PMP/PRINCE2 certification preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of the automotive industry, including emerging technologies like IoT, AI, and EVs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, etc.).
- Ability to handle complex projects and manage conflicting priorities.
