GLOBAL ENGINEERING SERVICES (GES)
Global Engineering Services is the key largescale engineering, productivity, new growth initiative and process standardization enabler for HPS and outside HPS. With the largest skilled engineering pool available to PAS, LSS, HCP and Cyber and ready to expand to other GBEs, GES helps win GMPs and executes them, does design, engineer and execute all the other PAS, LSS, HCI and Cyber projects based out of major engineering centers at India, China, Bucharest and Uzbekistan, helps all the LOBs to carry out engineering and process standardization to improve the engineering quality and productivity and also supports all the LOBs in supporting migrations and long-term service contracts.

THE OPPORTUNITY
The Project Engineer II is responsible for design, Installation and configuration of process data historian, visualizations application and Alarm Management application for the Refining, Oil and Gas, Mining and Chemical Industries.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Independently execute the technical delivery of the project right from design to closure.
•Develop design documents- FDS, DDS, test procedures and training manuals.
•Translate functional requirements to technical requirements and work with cross functional team of integration, Dashboard, and reports to ensure smooth execution.
•Implement PHD historian and UI graphics visualization (Report/dashboard), Notifications and Events, Portal requirements of Customer
•Implement Dynamo Metrics and Reporting, Documentation and Enforcement applications
•Help drive business stakeholder adoption of visualization-driven decision making
•Implement solutions with adherence to OT & IT network standards
•Develop data visualization graphics, trends, reports that synthesize data concepts into clear communications for key business stakeholders.
YOU MUST HAVE
•4-8 years’ experience in implementing historian applications like PHD, OSI soft PI , Aspen IP21, PI Vision, visualizations and Reports.
•Implementation knowledge of Honeywell Dynamo Documentation & Enforcement (D&E), Metrics & Reporting (M&R) or Exaquantum -Alarm Reporting and Analytics, Alarm Master Database and Sequence of Events, Aveva ProcessVue SOE, Analyzer and Guardian, Matrikon Alarm management or PAS PlantState Suite, Emerson AgileOps, ABB Ability, Yokogawa AAA Suite etc.,
•Excellent expertise in process data historian configuration and troubleshooting to transfer plant data from L2 to L4 Business network
•Able to develop & modify Human Machine Interface (HMI) graphics.
•Experience in writing Excel VBA (Visual Basic application) program will be an advantage.
•Prior experience of Implementing Process data historian & data visualization
•Good understanding of Alarm systems and alarm configuration on various DCS systems like Honeywell, Yokogawa, ABB, Schneider etc.,
•Good understanding of the Industry standards like ISA 18.2, and IEC 62682 standards
•Understanding of basic networking principles (e.g. IP addressing, Network components such as routers, switches etc.)
•Experience in writing SQL queries, creating SSRS & Basic Database management skills
•Knowledge of integration with other systems using OPC, OLEDB, ODBC and web services.
•Experience of working in Master Alarm Database (MAD), Alarm rationalization process & implementation.

QUALIFICATIONS
•BE/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering with implementation experience in Process Data historian like PHD, OSI Soft PI, ASPEN IP 21, Honeywell Dynamo Documentation & Enforcement (D&E), Metrics & Reporting (M&R) or Exaquantum -Alarm Reporting and Analytics, Alarm Master Database etc.,
TRAVEL:   Up to 60%

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
