Project Engineer - SCADA

However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest Operations hub. The India Operations Centre team at Chennai, Bangalore and Gurugram supports Hitachi Energy’s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Hitachi Energy To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.   Mission Statement: Identifying, developing, and gathering the resources necessary to complete the project. May include preparing engineering standards, designs and work specifications; developing project schedules, budgets and forecasts; and selecting materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors An Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. May require the following proficiency: Works independently with general supervision. Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex. May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices. Your Responsibilities: Configure NM SCADA Database/HMI/Custom displays. Real Time system SCADA operation & maintenance. Historical archiving and report creation. Troubleshooting using Protocol Analyzer/ Trap Analysis. Management of SCADA Applications – Alarm/Events, SOE, Trends, Operator Notes, Monitoring/Control, Historical Playback. Support EMS/DMS Engineer in application tuning. Testing SCADA Applications at different stages of Project Life Cycle. Deliver customer trainings and workshops. Assist in the designing, testing, and deploying of business applications. Assist in problem solving and providing solutions. Cooperate with other teams in different business units and locations. Must have people skills, in particular the ability to work with both international customers and suppliers as a SCADA/EMS/DMS Systems Engineer. Must have 4-5 years of experience. should have experience in Control Centre SCADA configuration, tuning & testing. should have experience in Control Centre System Maintenance. MS-Office: Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint Control Centre system knowledge of ABB, Siemens, Areva/Alstom, GE, Schneider. Knowledge of SCADA Control Centre Application (ABB NM knowledge is an advantage). Experience on Real Time Projects with SCADA in Power T&D.
