PURPOSE OF THE JOB


  • Drive the execution of project, according to contractual requirements and customer expectations (summarized in contract charter), to maximize the results with respect to cash and margin whilst delivering on time, in conformity with Alstom project management and execution processes,
  • Be accountable for project QCDP and project EHS,
  • The position is responsible for  overall project P&L .
  • Ensure Alstom legal and contractual rights are protected,
  • Lead and manage entire, Depot activities such as PI , fleet management & maintenance .
  • The position is responsible all the key stakeholder management  both internal & external to the company .
  • Overall responsibility of managing the technical issues both within the team & customer .
  • Maintain standards of Quality, Cost and Delivery that meets the Contractual and Customer expectations as a minimum.

Ensure that all fleet performance targets are achieved in line with contractual  requirements.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

Main responsibilities:


1/ Be accountable for project QCDP performance and optimize Project Financial performance (Margin & Cash)


As WP Owner of the Project Management Work Package, he/she is QCDP accountable for all the activities of his/her WP.


2/ Be responsible for the project governance, define project strategy in line with contract requirements, including PMP elaboration and objectives allocation to Sub-Systems (planning, cost, quality, performance)


3/ Lead and coordinate project activities and stakeholders from transfer to close-out including:


Customer relation


  • Provide up-to-date data/ information on fleet status to internal and external customers
  • Liaise with Supplier, customer, depot management and maintainers

Operation


  • Team Management Skills and Technical Knowledge about Locomotive/ EMU/Metros .
  • Strong communication and relationship with customer and suppliers.
  • Ensure team competency for troubleshooting on locomotives/EMU/Metros during operation, validation and Certification runs and Warranty according to state-of-the-art and best practice.
  • Ensure all schematics and documents needed for troubleshooting are updated in consultation with Engineering team.
  • Populate std way of reporting relevant failure data base (FRACAS, CFM & Health Hub)
  • Ensuring that proper communication and information flow process is established within the trouble shooting team and to other functions.
  • Contribute to reliability growth and return of experience with cross functional communications.
  • Provide technical support to special cases (FMI.)
  • Instrumental in highlighting repeated failure analysis and proposals for design changes.
  • Ensuring smooth interface of all notifications from helpline within operations.
  • Maintain, follow and ensure strong promotion of EHS rules, standards and any work-related processes within team.
  • Ensure compliance to standard processes (ISO, EHS)
  • Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct.

Performance & Efficiency


  • On time troubleshooting
  • Availability of trains according to contractual commitments
  • Respect of allocated QCD budgets
  • Customer & Maintainer satisfaction with respect to WI scope
  • Compliance with EHS rules, Quality policies and WI processes
  • In Time Troubleshooting and Achievement of QCD Commitments and EHS within team.
  • Respect of target task time in compliance with troubleshooting procedures.
