We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Project and Programme Management Office.


Responsibilities


  • Support the development of plans within constraints, considering delivery approach, key milestones and dependencies, requirements and scope, hand-offs, effort, resources and budget.
  • Establish & support processes including project reporting, risks & issues management, governance, planning and dependency management, financial reporting, resources planning and tracking.
  • Monitor delivery to drive the execution of the IRR outcomes, including performing analysis to help prioritise activities and how resources are allocated.
  • Update plan status, KPIs, Risks and Issues and follow up on actions. Own and resolve critical issues within agreed timescales and implement mitigating plans against identified risks and issues.
  • Support production of materials for relevant forums including the regular Delivery Forum and the HBEU IRR SteerCo.
  • Work with programme management to produce regular and ad hoc reporting for presentation to a range of levels within the organization.
  • Liaise with other Finance Change programmes to develop plans and manage cross-dependencies, notably the Basel 3 programme.
  • Ensure adherence with the Change Framework and use of standard project management tooling e.g. Clarity.
  • Work closely with a range of teams to ensure efficient coordination and consistent communication across teams to enable effective delivery, including Reporting Operations, Policy, Financial Control, Group IRR Programme teams and programme partners including Data Architecture Office, DBS and Risk & Compliance.
  • Bring a continuous improvement approach and learning mindset, recommending improvements and spotting opportunities to ensure the IRR programme in Europe is well run, highly organised, and meets its objectives.
