The Group Transformation Centre (GTC) – Wealth and Personal Banking, sits within our Global Service Centre (GSC). It works with Global Businesses and Functions, to accelerate, orchestrate and deliver change outcomes that help HSBC achieve its strategic priorities. The team manages projects globally across the bank using best-in-class execution skills and delivers at pace to achieve the desired business outcomes on large, complex and cross-function projects. The team utilises a design-led approach and Agile Methodology to drive change and translate business intent into clearly defined outcomes. The WPB PMO (Programme And Project Service Senior Analyst) leads the Project Management Office (PMO) of a Value Stream/ Sub-Value Stream, is a professional able to support the change initiatives within the Value stream (VS) independently, acts as a right hand of the Value stream (VS)/ Sub-value stream (SVS)/ Delivery leaders.


The activities of the PMO are centralized around the VS Governance, assurance, resource and work planning & control, budget management, benefit management and change management. This role will act as a source of guidance and provide governance and metrics to the global change initiatives and in supporting the delivery leaders for making strategic decisions. This role is responsible for following the HSBC Change Framework, using the standard project management tools aligned to the groups Strategic Tooling Spine such as Clarity, JIRA, Rally, and working closely with their colleagues the WPB Transformation team


We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Programme and Project Service Senior Analyst – WPB GTC Transformation. (5.1)


In this role, you will:


·Support the successful delivery of VS outcomes in line with agreed delivery plans


·Drive inputs/outputs for Programme Increment (PI) Planning and synthesize QBR memo updates


·Co-ordinate & prepare materials for key VS/SVS ceremonies.


·Design & manage delivery dashboards for insightful visualisation of flow of Capabilities and Features from Idea to Done, to support decision-making.


·Ensure data is accurate and reporting the latest status for all the key parameters ( Features and Capabilities)


·Guardian of the change governance. Help provide oversight across Global and markets


·Facilitate Change control around investment planning, scope, OKRs, features/capabilities


·Ensure the delivery pipeline is connected with financials and within capacity


·Collect thematic learnings from retrospectives to ensure cross implementation (from a VS perspective)


·Monitor & control the VS investment allocation, benefit projection & ensure they are captured in standard tooling


·Manage financial guardrails, ensure controls are in place and variances are tracked


·Manage resource capacity pattern


·Monitor & control VS, SVS Commercialization tracking


·Provide holistic view of the VS/ SVS’s financial performance and ensure those are in line with defined portfolio strategy, customer & business outcomes and OKRs


·Manages Risks and Issues through appropriate tracking and involving key members of the VS/ SVS team as appropriate


·Maintain continuous improvement plans to support the new Ways of Operating.


·Act as Change leader or SME in case of new initiative of business, strategy change, tooling migration, etc.


·Ensure compliance to HSBC Change Framework, FIM, SAFE, AGILE etc


·Manage any PMO Analysts in the team to ensure they deliver quality work and meet the expectations of the programme
