 Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled Program Specialist (Project Manager) to join our team who will have the opportunity to champion Applications Development and Support Team -CAT IT Division


The incumbent would be responsible for managing and delivering software development projects using Agile methodologies. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, facilitating agile ceremonies, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget. The Agile Project Manager will act as a liaison between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.


The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore, Whitefield office.


 What you will do:


Summary: Project Manager will be responsible for managing and delivering software development projects using Agile methodologies. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, facilitating agile ceremonies, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget. The Agile Project Manager will act as a liaison between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.


Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Plan, execute, and oversee Agile projects from inception to completion.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with product owners to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets, adjusting plans as necessary to meet project objectives.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Communicate project status, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, promoting best practices in Agile methodologies.
  • Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles and practices.
  • Track and report on key metrics such as velocity, burn-down, and burn-up charts.
  • Ensure quality standards are met through effective collaboration with QA and development teams.

What you will have:


Professional & Technical Skills:


  • Good to have: High level knowledge on Java and .NET technologies.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability management
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana, Microsoft Project).
  • Experience with Agile planning and estimation techniques.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills:


  • Experience in coaching teams in Agile best practices.
  • Familiarity with change management principles.
  • Knowledge of software engineering and development practices.

Additional Information:


  • 10+ relevant Project Management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or related field.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile certifications preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing Agile projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Shift Timing-01:00PM-10:00PM IST (EMEA Shift)
