Description and Requirements
The SMB segment is Lenovo ecommerce’s largest and most profitable segment. This is a high-performance team recognized at the highest levels in Lenovo. SMB e-commerce teams ideate new business ideas, create strategy, and execute go-to-market plans to bring them to market. The initiatives can range from new products and services, improvements to the user experience, new marketing programs, partnerships, and/or adding new benefits for our customers to further accelerate our growth and vision. These are high-visibility roles that interface across the large e-commerce team globally. We are given the freedom to dream big and then bring these to reality. The Program Manager – WW Segment Operations will be a key member of the team and will be responsible for owning end to end management of program launches at scale as well as supporting overall team performance and providing insights to improvements and the overall strategy. This role is critical to defining how we evolve the Lenovo SMB segment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and decision-making processes by translating data into actionable insights.
- Apply deep understanding of business objectives and various data sources to help solve business challenges.
- Understand business & product problems and produce deep data backed solutions.
- Collaborate with the worldwide teams to implement solutions, enable partnerships, and drive global & regional priorities.
- Create sales projections and forecasting for all geos.
- Proactively identify and mitigate issues and potential obstacles in meeting business objectives and priorities.
- Liaison with Analytics team to keep track of RAD enhancements and other RAD related mini projects.
- Evaluate metrics to be tracked as per business goals, exploring other available metrics for deeper understanding of product performance.
- Work in a fast-moving environment, across multiple projects with varying levels of complexity and detailing.
Preferred Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of combined experience working in business intelligence &/or strategy roles.
- MBA while not mandatory, is preferred.
- Understanding of business and marketing strategy, and can use data (trend, competitive, research) to identify differentiators and establish value propositions that resonate with the target audience.
- Experience with the sales process and conversion goals.
- Well-rounded interpersonal skill set with the capacity to build strong relationships with senior executives.
- Excellent quantitative analytical skills, creativity in problem solving and a keen business sense.
- Displays structured problem solving, application of right tools & techniques to solve open ended problems.
- Strong communications (written/verbal), and senior executive-level presentation and facilitation skills.
- Strong project management skills.
Keys to success in the role:
- An action-oriented professional with strong business acumen who can learn fast and collaborate across teams to dig into general business-related issues and provide a path forward.
- Knowledge of visualization tools like Tableau & Power BI is required combined with proficiency in Excel.
- Strong understanding of sales tactics and tools to improve sales team performance.
- Self-driven professional who can see their way through to a solution and influence others to support.
- Experience in eCommerce is preferred but not required.
