Amazon is seeking a Program Manager who has bias for action, ability to dive deep, and has experience leading multi-organizational initiatives for our global transparency team.
Our mission in Transparency Team is to make Amazon the safest place to transact online. Transparency strives to safeguards every enrolled product on Amazon and Non-Amazon sites, while striving to ensure that these efforts are transparent to our legitimate customers. As such, Transparency designs and builds the software systems, risk models and operational processes that minimize risk and maximize trust in Amazon. We are looking for a candidate with a record of owning and executing strategic, cross-functional projects as well as partnering with other teams to drive key process improvement programs. This role requires working with Product, Biz dev and WW FC teams to provide data driven operations support key to the success of the initiative. You will also analyze operations’ data and processes to identify key customer issues/challenges that will help us improve our processes and provide higher value to our customers. This is an opportunity that requires a critical thinker with organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Key job responsibilities
• Partner with cross functional teams to drive process optimization, standardization and implementation of FC launches
• Collaborate with Product Managers to understand the business requirements and solve for complex problems independently
• Communicate regularly with Stakeholders and identify relevant KPIs when needed to track and report the health status of the program
• Plan resourcing, analyze and report weekly and monthly metrics; identify trends and opportunities to improve processes;
• Execute high priority (i.e., cross functional, high impact) projects to improve FC metric performance;
• Design and implement automation solutions that remove manual process and enable stakeholders to manage the business more effectively.
• Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization.
- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- 2+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 2+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
- PMP
- Master's degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation logistics
- First hand Experience in working with Fulfillment Center/s.
