S&OP Program Manager - Amazon India
Join us in shaping the future of e-commerce while driving operational excellence at one of the world's most innovative companies. At Amazon, our mission is to be Earth's most customer-centric company – we are seeking an experienced Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Program Manager to join our Supply Chain team in India. This is the central role which ensure seamless planning and execution for all Fulfilment Centers across India while optimizing customer, seller, and vendor experiences. This role offers significant visibility and impact within Amazon's operations, requiring someone who can build trust, drive ownership, and deliver exceptional results while collaborating with various stakeholders across the organization's hierarchy.
Core Focus Areas
1. Manage and optimize Fulfillment Center (FC) capacities across India's entire FC network
2. Drive capacity coordination across all mile operations – first mile, middle mile and last mile operations
3. Partner with key stakeholders including Site Leaders, Regional Directors, and National Leader for FC Operations
4. Collaborate with internal teams (Fulfillment Experience, Resource Planning, Transportation Planning, and Speed Programs) to optimize the balance between delivery speed and operational costs
Key Responsibilities
1. Drive end-to-end S&OP processes to enhance forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency
2. Lead cross-functional S&OP cycles (daily, weekly, and monthly) with key stakeholders
3. Analyze delivery performance metrics and provide data-driven recommendations
4. Develop innovative solutions for business growth in resource-constrained environments
5. Implement automation and scalable processes to streamline operations
6. Standardize tools and processes to minimize supply chain losses
7. Partner with global teams to implement best practices
8. Guide strategic decision-making across functions and leadership levels
9. Ensure optimal capacity utilization across the FC network while maintaining service levels
10. Develop and maintain strong relationships with operations leadership team
Stakeholder Management
1. Direct collaboration with FC Site Leaders and Regional Directors
2. Regular engagement with National Operations Leadership
3. Cross-functional coordination with - Fulfillment Experience Team, Resource Planning Team, Transportation Planning Team, Speed Programs Team
Qualifications & Skills
1. Proven experience in Sales & Operations Planning, Forecasting, and Inventory Management
2. Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency with business intelligence tools
3. Excellence in handling large datasets from multiple sources
4. Good written and verbal communication skills
5. Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
6. Track record of successful program management
7. Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related)

- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
