Job Description

As Program Manager, you will be part of Line Haul scheduling team. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across LH operations, Analytics, Supply Chain, Finance and various Mile operations & program teams. We are looking for individuals who can navigate the ambiguity & build tools & processes bottoms up. Individual should have the ability to drive continuous improvements in existing processes and working alongside larger team to meet the challenges of an extremely deadline driven environment. The individual should have a can-do attitude and an ability to solve problems independently with limited guidance.
Key job responsibilities
• Program manage the variable capacity planning for trucking network including building tools & processes to translate forecast into operations plan address the existing gaps in the processes.
• Define & monitor success metrics for the planning accuracy improvement programs.
• Identify leading indicators for planning accuracy, conduct impact assessment analysis & partner with various upstream & downstream teams network cost to drive the curve upwards.
• Driving scheduling & planning tech product(s) adoption for the network
• Conducting process benchmarking activities, identifying new tech initiatives & work with cross-functional teams (analytics, operations, finance etc.) to draw out detailed plan(s) & drive their implementation
• Driving cost optimization programs like Truck Utilization, Adhoc to Schedule conversion etc.
• Assess the impact of external programs on trucking planning processes.
About the team
Scheduling team manages the transportation planning and scheduling for India dedicated trucking network. This team links promise to the execution by configuring every drop and pick up in the middle mile network.
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation logistics
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
- 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
