Job Description

As a Program Manager overseeing operations across digital supply chain, licensing ops, and label relations ops, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating complex, cross-functional programs that are critical to Amazon's digital music ecosystem. This challenging position requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, operational expertise, and interpersonal finesse. You will be the cornerstone connecting various teams, vendors and labels, ensuring seamless content delivery, efficient licensing operations, and strong label relationships. Your ability to navigate ambiguity, drive data-informed decisions, and influence diverse stakeholders will be crucial in optimizing our digital supply chain and enhancing our operational performance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on Amazon's digital content operations, requiring you to balance tactical execution with strategic vision while adapting to the ever-evolving landscape of digital media.
Key job responsibilities
1. Own and manage complex, cross-functional programs across digital content delivery, licensing, and label relations, driving execution from inception to completion.
2. Define program strategy, set objectives, and establish clear measurable success criteria. Drive timely decisions and delivery to meet deadlines and program goals.
3. Serve as the key point of contact between partner teams (e.g., product, global digital operations, content acquisition), digital music providers, and labels. Build and manage productive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
4. Analyze data from multiple sources to identify opportunities, translate insights into actionable plans, and drive improvements in supply chain efficiency, catalog quality, and operational performance.
5. Collaborate with tech teams to influence roadmaps, make recommendations on system/feature improvements, and drive prioritization of technical requirements.
6. Negotiate effectively with stakeholders on operational expectations, resource allocation, best practices, and compliance issues to meet business objectives.
7. Manage and apply operational tactics to remove roadblocks, handle exceptions, and improve efficiencies across the digital supply chain.
8. Drive and manage the implementation of new initiatives related to content delivery, licensing, label relations, product launches, and business models.
9. Optimize cross-team processes and contribute to operational excellence improvements that enhance team efficacy and delivery.
10. Provide clear, concise, and timely communication to diverse audiences. Create effective program documentation, status reports, and metrics reports.
11. Demonstrate technical knowledge of digital media formats, end-to-end digital publishing processes, and partner team workstreams.
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
