Job Description

CPE (CMT’s Promotion Excellence) team, part of Competitor Monitoring Team was launched in May 2024 and is set to play a pivotal role in transforming the technical operations and user experience of the Worldwide Deals and Promotions platform. CPE's charter focuses on optimizing the end-to-end promotion lifecycle - from sourcing and scheduling to discovery, merchandising, checkout, and post-checkout. The team will leverage a data-driven approach to identify and prioritize critical issues impacting the reliability and quality of the platform. This team’s primary objective is to improve transparency & make the promotion lifecycle management a seamless process for our selling partners.
The role involves influencing peers and stakeholders in other functions to achieve functional and business goals assigned. A successful candidate in this role will have the ability to work at all levels of detail to accomplish team/organization goals. The ideal candidate actively seeks to understand Amazon’s core business values and initiatives, and translates those into everyday practices.

Key job responsibilities
The Program Manager will be responsible for (i) Design & Implementation of a unified self-service diagnostics that aimed at reducing or eliminating contacts from Selling Partners (Contact Reduction YoY), (ii) Design & Implement a proactive risk assessment framework for e2e promotions lifecycle management to reduce defects & improve business growth ($ Impact), (iii) Drive cross-functional collaboration to holistically improve promotion quality experience (Reduce exception rate YoY) and (iv) Manage a Tier 1 escalation mechanism for Promotion related Defects.
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
