Key job responsibilities
As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for strategizing, implementing, and optimizing key operational workflows that impact Amazon Music’s catalog accuracy, content coverage, and metadata enrichment. You will work closely with product teams, engineering, and operations leaders to identify automation opportunities, improve content workflows, and drive process efficiencies. Your role will focus on:
* Program Execution: Define roadmaps and strategies to enhance program efficiency and coverage.
* Automation & Process Optimization: Identify AI/ML-based opportunities to improve manual research, reduce handling time, and optimize data validation workflows.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to launch and scale operational improvements.
* Program Insights & Reporting: Leverage Quicksight, Tableau, and Power BI to track key program metrics and drive data-driven decisions.
* Scalability & Growth: Identify opportunities to expand capabilities and workflow automation.
A day in the life
* Partner and execute prioritization strategies to improve content coverage, ML accuracy, and metadata quality.
* Define, collaborate and implement automation solutions that streamline workflows and reduce manual efforts.
* Identify and drive process improvements to enhance content operations and efficiency.
* Collaborate with stakeholders across global teams to align program goals and drive execution.
* Conduct data analysis and reporting, translating insights into actionable recommendations.
* Facilitate decision-making processes between operations, product, and engineering teams.
* Lead discussions, drive detailed project plans, and ensure clear communication of goals and progress.
* Manage and resolve escalations, proactively identifying challenges and blockers.
* Drive cross-functional initiatives, ensuring seamless execution across teams.
- 3+ years of program management experience, preferably in a global technology or digital operations environment.
- Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional programs.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience working across international teams.
- Experience in process automation, content management, or metadata operations.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
- Experience in streaming media, digital content, or the music industry.
- Knowledge of AI/ML-based content optimization and metadata enhancement methodologies.
- Familiarity with SQL, Hubble, or other database tools.
- Experience with Quicksight, Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
- Understanding of content discovery, recommendation systems, and personalization technologies.
- Experience with agile methodologies and program execution frameworks.
