This Program Manager is a critical role in Metrics, Analytics & Control team of Citi’s Markets & Operations technology department. This role requires a PM managing Project/Program Delivery Governance, BOW scope discussion, Stakeholder Communication, Progress measurement. This role is accountable for management of projects and initiatives that are focused on ensuring compliance with Citi’s Data Management Policy, which is highly visible to key regulators.
This is a highly visible role that will require superior project management skills, deep business knowledge, broad connections across all businesses as needed, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and regulatory knowledge. Executive level communication will be required. Candidates must have experience in complex problem solving, working across multiple businesses and geographies.
Primary responsibility will be to work with departments technology and business stakeholders to ensure effective governance. Additionally help application team as a Scrum master and help application manager for managing the application hygiene and mitigate risk timely.
The role also demand coordination with Business Office on Project Consolidation exercise, budget drills and finance and SoW management.
Responsibilities:
- Program Management and Governance of Key programs in the portfolio.
- Leading portfolio management not just confining to Budget but on various aspects of project management, Risk and Compliance
- Liaise with stakeholders across technology, business, and operations teams in the Markets & Operations Technology ,working with Global Teams.
- Manage expectations of various stakeholder groups and help negotiate solutions to complex problems.
Accurately record, maintain, and report Program/Project management tracking data such as milestones via Citi’s internal Project tracking systems. - Identify and communicate risks and impacts, considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.
- As a PM help application managers in activities to maintain application hygiene and health as per Citi standards.
- Ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision and exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
- Problem solving, Decisiveness, sense of accountability and collaboration within MOT teams.
- Stakeholders management and Go getter approach.
- Role requires engagement with Business Office and Business Sponsors for Program Governance.
- Consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., science, computers, information technology or engineering)
- Certified scrum master or any agile certification.
- Strong knowledge and years of experience on Jira and other project management tools.
- Strong experience in advanced Microsoft excels, word, power point.
- Excellent communication(written & verbal) , collaboration skills
- Experience working with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
- Relationship builder and a good team player
- Good analytical and business skills
- Demonstrate sense of responsibility and capability to deliver quickly
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree preferred

- Representing Metrics, Analytics & Control portfolio at Pune site in senior leadership forum as co-Site lead position for Pune
- Coordinate with Business Office , Sourcing /Finance , Operations BO , Global Project Managers and Senior Business Stakeholders from RADAR and Mkt Ops.
- Manage Program Governance , BoW prioritization , Due Diligence /quantifying Benefits for I@C .
- Effectively manage Senior (Director n Above) communication and expectations , not confined to Peer PM's , direct manager and limited interaction with program sponsors.
- Navigate changing and complex guidelines YoY from Business Office , Finance and dynamics with Business Stakeholders
- Demonstrate creative ideas like Budget Optimization- Identified the opportunities for increased efficiency of budget usage in complex portfolio.
- Manage all facets of daily operations, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures including: BOW financial forecasting, headcount planning, and centralized policy/reporting.
