Responsibilities
Drives development
organization within the native syngo program, and is responsible for
- Implementation of Development
function strategy within this program and ensuring alignment with overall
segment strategy and approach
- Defining function
specific roles and responsibilities within scope of business and building
competence-based organization with the required skills for the program
- Leadership and people
management (acquisition of talent, building a function-specific pipeline,
managing competency and personal development of employees, and performance
management).
- Manage the
project/program requirements in a cross-functional matrix setup ensuring timely
delivery within budget with high quality to achieve high customer satisfaction.
Impact
Focus on strategic alignment
of function to global business line and business area. Responsible for tactical
implementation and execution of function targets. Is the primary interface for
function-specific stakeholders globally.
Internal Interactions:
Segment
Heads, Sub Segment/Function Heads, Program/Project Managers, Customer (BL
Senior Managers of Define, Development and other functions).
External Interactions:
Customers
– Radiologists, Radiology Technicians, Hospital Administrators, IT
Administrators etc.
What are my tasks?
- Budget and operational responsibility: - Responsible for setting (together with Segment Head) and achieving the DC sub segment business targets. Plans and controls the budget and the status of the projects (process and budget resp.). Breaks down and communicate sub segment-specific targets. Ensures execution of defined projects and delivery of products within time, quality, budget framework and in alignment with the process framework as well as support functions.
- Team Leadership and people management: - Leads and coordinates the sub-segment staff. Ensures attraction and recruiting of talents, professional competency and career development of employees according to their strengths and organizational needs, utilization of the full potential of assigned key experts, resource management incl. compliant cross-border delegation
- Team Staffing and Retention
- Competency Development
- Team coaching
- Partner Management
- Customer relationship management - Customer relationship management with relevant customer representatives on an operational / project level
- Ensure process quality and drive process improvement initiatives. Institutionalize and monitor product quality together with Quality Management functions.
What do I need to know to qualify for
this job?
Education:
Engineering Graduate / Post Graduate (preferably a major in Computer Science/
Electronics).
Experience in
functional leadership: at least 5 years of functional leadership experience.
Experience in
various R&D and management functions, minimum 7 years of professional
experience (SW, HW, IT organization)
Min. three
years of experience in managing and directing software projects. Experience in
expert functions like Software Development / Architecture, Software Testing
Desired Knowledge & Experience:
·Experience in managing
and directing software projects.
- Healthcare market product knowhow and customer understanding
- Exposure to agile methodology
- Product Lifecycle Management & Software development cycle experience
- Working in a cross-functional role across different functions like architecture, development, test and quality
·International
experience with global projects and collaboration with intercultural team is a
must
What experience do I need to have?
- years of experience in IT product or
solution business.

Several years of experience in requirements engineering and SW development.
Ideally, IT integration experience. Experience in agile development projects
- Experience with
managing internationally staffed teams, management and balancing of different
stakeholder expectations. Ideally several years of experience in technical
leadership role and communicating direction and coaching others.

international/ intercultural teams, with international development partners and
customers.
