Job Description


Summary:


Perform the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped. Post weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment. Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.


Your Responsibilities:

To manage and handle production material in shop floor to allow us to satisfy our customer needs.


  • Raw Material Receiving: Familiar with the material receiving process. Who can handle any type of unusual conditions such as merchandise discrepancies, damaged and non-conforming packaging, incorrect part numbers.
  • Familiar with the process of material problems. You can handle goods receiving and returning problems on the production line.
  • Familiar with inventory checking process and checking inventory, and responsible for regular inventory count and feedback to material leader.
  • Production line chemical management
  • Familiar with MRB process and can handle scrapped/returned materials.
  • Enhance SAP, material inquiries and requisitioning in SAP.
  • Handle excess materials in the region.
  • Responsible for floor-stock, bulk material requisition in production line.

Conduct tasks following applicable health, safety, quality and environmental regulations (state regulations, ISO 9000, ISO 14000, etc) and Rockwell Automation procedures.

The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • An electrical degree or certificate or experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Basic IT skills.

  • You will be based in ESR Industrial Park, Oragadum, Chennai. You must have Valid Passport.
