Job Description


Job Summary


To assemble product using the best manufacturing practices, job design, and assembly


techniques that will allow us to satisfy our customer needs.


Your Responsibilities:
  • To lead the team in improvement activities, focusing on quality, on-time delivery, efficiency and safety.
  • To provide first line personnel services to the team, with responsibility for discipline of team members.
  • Read appropriate documentation required for product assembly (i.e. prints, diagrams, order sheets, schematics).
  • Positively contribute to the growth and overall development of their work area.
  • Understand established assembly procedures/help develop new procedures, or improving existing procedures.
  • Set up/build and assemble structures, units, doors, and all related components (other than 2B wiring/Frames) to finish the product.
  • Assembly of non-plug in units (transformers, breakers, bolted pressure switches, etc.)
  • Wire harnessed transformers or other designated electrical component
  • 5S and EHS maintenance. Conduct tasks following applicable health, safety, quality and environmental regulations (state regulations, ISO 9000, ISO 14000, etc) and Rockwell Automation procedures.

The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • An electrical degree or certificate or experience in a related field or equivalent experience. Associate degree in Electromechanical Technology, Electrician or equivalent education.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience
  • Ability to read and speak English.
  • Basic IT skills.
  • Experience of basic problem solving techniques.

EHS Responsibilities


  • Comply with local EHS laws and regulations, RA policy and rules

You will be based in ESR Industrial Park, Oragadum, Chennai. You should have Valid Passport.
