Product Specialist

The job is to support sales and implementation of a product in collaboration with local sales and marketing. It develops and adapts sales training to fit market needs and functions as local go-to-person for product-related activities.

Main accountabilities and responsibilities

• Support product releases, phase-in / phase-out, and customer trials locally
• Work with customers to create high level of satisfaction with product
• Provide on-site and off-site implementation / support to use the product, including staff training, management training, management support, problem solving assistance
• Support the development of product-specific sales / training material
• Identify gaps and improve the product sales process in the local market
• Support in combining multiple product and solutions to a professional global offering
• Follow up on product related KPI’s in the local market
• Work closely with Business Owners, Product Managers and Post Market Surveillance Manager
• Collaborate with the local sales & marketing functions to represent the product and to increase awareness/competence of the product regionally
• Function as local “go-to-person” for the product
• Participate in relevant meetings to provide insights on observations, outcomes, changes needed
• Work with Regulatory Affairs and Legal to ensure compliance with regulations and requirements

Experience and qualification requirements

• Strategic- and Business thinking is required, preferably from digitally enabled products.
• Fundamental to be a good listener. Should be able to navigate effectively and goal oriented through different parts of the organization and opinions.
• Strong innovation skill is required. The success of this role is to a significant degree depending on the ability to think out of the box and break new ground.
• Strong project management skills to manage multiple workstreams and dependencies in a corporate environment and with external contractors.
• Able to analyze and synthesize complex and diverse information in a creative and effective way
• High reliability, engagement and quality focus. Believes in the importance of improving life for elders.
• Bachelor/Master degree in Engineering, computer science, service design or equivalent.
