Product Security Specialist

Summary of the Position:

Product Security Specialist SiMD with experience with software development and programming.

• Support the Product Security Embedded Systems Engineering for embedded security R&D initiatives.

  
  

• Work collaboratively on a team to satisfy overall Product Security requirements and security enhancements for software in a medical Device (SiMD).

  
  

• Prototype, build and enhance Product Security applications that are based on Generative-AI.

  
  

• Support the creation of accurate documentation of security process results for management and stakeholders.

  
  

JOB FUNCTIONS

Duties are listed in order of greatest importance.  Other responsibilities may be assigned. 

Support various Product Security research initiatives involving prototyping and proof of concepts for SiMD. Develop Product Security framework of applications that are based on Generative-AI. Familiarity with software security protections and mitigations. Experience with programming in at least one scripting language (e.g. Python, Ruby, Bash).

QUALIFICATIONS

B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or Information Security with 7+ years of total relevant technical experience, or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree. Scripting for Microsoft development environment, such as PowerShell Familiar with Window OS services, processes, driver and registry configurations and analysis techniques Familiar with Windows and Linux hardening cybersecurity configurations. Knowledge of IPv4, IPv6, TCP/UDP Good interpersonal & Communication skills to build positive departmental and inter-departmental relationships in a virtual, remote, and asynchronous environment.
