What you'll do

You will be working in a cross-functional team of talented, supportive, and motivated colleagues, following agile methodologies and industry best practices.

As a Product Owner in our development team, you take responsibility for the following

• Create an understanding of business contexts, requirements, objectives, and expectations of internal and external customers
•  Work with the Tech Lead, Product Designer and Stakeholders to create a roadmap based on our strategy to build shared cross-product services to enhance the consistent user experience across our whole product portfolio 
•  Drive the discovery phase to uncover the needs of our customers and users 
• Align priorities and maintain a prioritized backlog across all sources of work (for example other teams’ dependencies, tech strategy…)
• Own the team’s backlog, define, and write epics and stories in collaboration with engineers
• Communicate with and manage expectations towards the team and the stakeholders
•  Manage for progress, help remove impediments to ensure delivery
• Be the spokesperson and ambassador of team achievements to the rest of the organization
• Work with all development process contributors, e.g., Product Managers, Architects, Project Management, Scrum Masters, Developers, User Assistance Developer and DevOps to establish and execute a flawless development process

 
What you bring : 

• <span 72="">Bachelor’s in computer science engineering or technology (BE/B.Tech, MCA/MTech), or allied branches
• <span 72="">10+ years of experience in building software products / service
• <span 72="">Experience in working as a Product Owner or Manager in an agile environment
• <span 72="">Expertise in developing cloud native applications
• <span 72="">Worked in the global teams with high levels of collaboration
• <span 72="">Experience in cloud applications development will be an advantage
• <span 72="">Experience in agile development practices (SCRUM) test-driven development as well as domain-driven development is required
• <span 72="">Apply Agile Software Engineering principles and DevOps model for continuous delivery
• <span 72="">Ability to lead through and create progress when things aren’t clear, or the way forward is not yet well-defined
• <span 72="">Communication skills that allow you to translate between different domains and adjust to different audiences
• <span 72="">A solid toolkit and methods that help you along the path from problem to a solution delivered and adopted (prioritization, slicing and aligning scope, planning and estimation etc.)
• <span 72="">An eye for non-functional requirements such as security, performance, scalability, availability, cost and operations
• <span 72="">An understanding of the technical challenges and solutions that occur in today’s cloud-native, connected landscape
• <span 72="">Strong user focus and methods - discovering user needs, introducing KPIs, metrics, etc.
• <span 72="">A passion for coaching and mentoring your less experienced colleagues by drawing upon your experience, skills, and knowledge to ‘give back’ to others
• <span 72="">Good writing & presentation skills

As Customer experience & Solutions (CXS) team, we develop products & solutions that enable digital transformation for our customers. As the thought leaders for Application Lifecycle Management we develop the Cloud Application Lifecycle Management (CALM) platform with applications & services to support the complete application lifecycle for all SAP solutions CALM is being built on the latest version SAP Cloud Platform – Cloud Foundry & is an essential part to deliver the Integrated Enterprise Suite. Our team builds the next generation Service Delivery Platform within Cloud ALM.
