Job Description

Overall Responsibilities:


  • Imagine, define, analyze, and document the product vision and requirements, effectively communicating to management, business, and technical staff.
  • Manage, track, and report on product line or product feature performance throughout its lifecycle, including product strategy, planning, and issue prioritization.
  • Coordinate product priority decisions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Facilitate internal and external product communication and information sharing across the product line and partner organizations.
  • Oversee the product development process, including commercialization tasks necessary to bring products to market.
  • Manage product development and improvements, including the roadmap and statement of direction across the product line.
  • Address issues throughout the product development process, including problem identification, root cause analysis, and partner communication.
  • Act as the primary negotiator between internal departments and clients to resolve issues.
  • Serve as the product expert and liaison to Sales.
  • Interface with consumers in the education and enrollment into new product programs.
  • Collaborate with the Tech team to create comprehensive business requirements.
  • Conduct and document gap analysis.
  • Maintain frequent contact with internal and external customers.

Technical Skills:


  • Extensive knowledge of software requirements and product management principles.
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
  • Strong understanding of technical operations and project management processes.
  • Familiarity with card brand regulations, including PCI compliance.
  • Experience in payments-related technologies and systems.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts and requirements clearly to both IT and business resources.

Experience:


  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in Technical Operations, Business Analysis, Project Management, or Product Management.
  • Prior experience in negotiations, vendor management, and project management is required.
  • Experience as a SAFe Agilist is a plus.

Day-to-Day Activities:


  • Lead product vision discussions and document requirements.
  • Monitor product performance metrics and report findings to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to establish product priorities.
  • Facilitate communication between internal teams and external partners.
  • Oversee product commercialization efforts and manage the product lifecycle.
  • Conduct meetings with clients and internal teams to resolve product-related issues.
  • Engage with sales teams to provide product expertise and support.
  • Interact with consumers to facilitate education and enrollment in new programs.
  • Work closely with the Tech team to ensure alignment on business requirements.
  • Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • High School diploma/GED required.
  • In-depth knowledge of card brand regulations and compliance standards.
