As a Product Owner Associate within the Product Owner team, you will serve as a key point person to manage updates and promote enhancements to our Brokerage and Digital platform. You will collaborate with various teams to identify product gaps, plan enhancements, and ensure product quality. Your role will be crucial in shaping the strategic vision for the ideal advisor-to-client digital experience for the future.
Job responsibilities :
- Serve as a point person within the digital product team to own and manage updates to key product areas and ongoing enhancements.
- Drive enhancements to our Brokerage and Digital platform to make advisors' lives easier and help grow our business.
- Gather, organize, and assimilate internal feedback across all US Lines of Business to identify and prioritize product gaps, enhancements, and new features.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineering to prioritize and plan enhancements or bug fixes based on user feedback.
- Attend regular meetings with the technology teams and product partners to discuss ongoing issues, feedback, and product updates.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for new features or updates to ensure they meet user needs and quality standards.
- Inform key stakeholders of new product features and upcoming changes and help define the strategic vision for the ideal advisor-to-client digital experience for the future.
- Support, plan, and execute product releases and product maintenance updates and Prepare presentations and management briefings on status and next steps of key deliverables.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various teams including Business Management, Solutions, Controls
- Engage with front office users to identify product pain points, refine requirements for business value, collaborate on UX design, document processes, review feedback, participate in agile meetings, and support issue resolution.
- Enhance testing effectiveness and efficiency for the Brokerage Trading platform by leading regression testing, ensuring product quality, collaborating with development teams, performing exploratory testing, developing test automation strategies, monitoring user experience, and driving continuous improvement in testing processes.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- University degree holder (including MBA / CFA) and / or with 5 years of professional experience in a similar capacity
- Strong knowledge of Private Bank product offerings, asset class knowledge
- Solid understanding of trading products that advisors will place on the Brokerage platform such as equity, money market funds, mutual fund, fixed income, Syndicate and Understanding of trade lifecycles
- Inclination to understand advisor and client workflows, which lead to trades being placed on the platform
- Understanding that a brokerage trading role requires immediate attention and response to any production related matters
- PowerPoint and Excel expertise required
- Absolute discretion when dealing with confidential matters
