What you will do
This position under general direction, conduct business and systems analysis, lead software and process design changes, and generate application documentation. This position requires the ability to work under minimal direction in collaboration with Product and Engineering Management to take tactical product decisions, defining user stories and managing the product backlog
How you will do it
Interface to Product Management regularly to ensure alignment on overall vision
Owns negotiation of scope with Product Management, and to help set priorities based on estimates/feasibility of requested functionality
Creates user stories and acceptance tests from themes and features of detailed information for a single sprint. Prioritizes these user stories by business value.
Work closely with UX to allow them to take requirements and properly create the annotated wireframes
Ensure that the workflows are optimized given the desired scope and schedule for the given product
Regularly audit the product development to ensure the requirements are all being followed
Understanding requirements, translating them and communicating it to development team in an agile environment to build solutions
Make sure the final product delivery is the right solution for the customer
Provide assistance to testers and support personnel as needed to determine system problems
Should have can do attitude and initiative to start and complete the assigned activities.
Information Security Responsibilities
Adhere to JCI policies, guidelines and procedures pertaining to the protection of information assets.
Adhere to JCI product security standards and guidelines for secured software product development.
The software, licenses, shall be deployed and used only in accordance with JCI licensing agreements.
Unless provided in the applicable license, notice, or agreement, copyrighted software shall not be duplicated, except for backup and archival purposes.
Any software that is acquired illegally or does not have a valid license shall not be deployed or used. Copying of third party materials without an appropriate license is prohibited.
The employees, contractors or third-party personnel shall not copy, extract or reproduce in any way, copyrighted material from the Internet on information systems provided by organization, other than permitted by copyright law.
Implement appropriate physical and technical safeguards to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets.
All employees, contractors and third parties shall be responsible to report all information security incidents, alerts, warnings and suspected vulnerabilities, in a timely manner, and share such information only with authorized personnel.
What we look for
Required
BE/B.Tech/BCA/MCA - Computer
Must have 5 to 8 years of Agile Product Owner/Business Analyst experience
Solid analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with Building Automation, Building Management, Building Efficiency domain
Familiarity with Agile scrum methodology
Estimation techniques using story points
Testing experience is a plus
Good verbal and written communication in English Language
Mobile application experience
Preferred
Has agile scrum delivery experience in a full-time product owner role
Familiarity with web based applications
Strong business writing skills and presentation skills
Communicates exceptionally well in phone calls and through email
