Product Ops Excellence Principal Specialist

Main Responsibilities:


Facilitate Team Engagement & Communication


  • Support ceremonies and collaborative events for Product Managers (e.g., Communities of Practice, Product Jamming sessions, team channels).
  • Promote modern product management practices, encouraging momentum and engagement across the team.
  • Assist in preparing and supporting individual Product Managers through learning and development initiatives,

Assist in Transformation Initiatives


  • Contribute to the implementation of new ways of working, such as Agile, PLC, and other transformation efforts within Business Domains (BDs) and transversally in TRD.
  • Participate in industry PM forums to share insights and gather relevant takeaways to inform internal practices.

Support PLC Transformation


  • Collaborate with the Product Operational Excellence Leader to reduce inconsistencies and bridge gaps in PM practices across BDs.
  • Assist in translating strategic objectives into actionable plans, fostering alignment and engagement across product management teams.
  • Help with communication initiatives to drive the adoption of key changes and measure transformation impact using defined metrics.

Promote Product Management Practices


  • Work with cross-functional teams to support data-driven, cloud-first, and security-oriented product management approaches.
  • Help build internal and external networks to maintain expertise and awareness of evolving PM practices.
  • Collaborate with managers to identify and address barriers to efficient product management processes.

Training, Coaching & Onboarding Support


  • Provide guidance and support to PMs on using best practices, tools, and methodologies.
  • Contribute to onboarding processes tailored to the needs of new Product Managers, including those new to Amadeus, Product Management, or specific business domains.

Skills & Experience Required:


  • Some experience in Product Management or Product Operations.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams.
  • An interest in modern product management methodologies, data-driven decision-making, UX, and Agile practices.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and promote continuous improvement within complex environments.
  • Ability to foster engagement, support training initiatives, and contribute to change management efforts.
