Location: Bangalore (this is a full time, in office role, not a remote position)


Salary range: 5L to 12L per annum

The Role:

We are looking for a Product Research Analyst (or Voice of Customer Analyst) to serve as the critical link between customer-facing teams and the product management team. This role is focused on gathering, organizing, and analyzing customer feedback to ensure that product decisions are informed by real-world insights. Your work will enable the product team to prioritize effectively, craft user-centric solutions, and drive overall business success.


You’ll collaborate with teams across Customer Success, Sales, Support, and more to provide clear, actionable insights that shape our product roadmap, strategy, and content.You will be reporting directly into the founding team and working out of our office in Bangalore.


This is an excellent entry-level role for anyone who eventually wants to become a product manager. 


Responsibilities:

1. Customer Feedback Analysis


  • Attend or review recordings of customer calls to capture detailed insights into user needs, workflows, pain points, and feature requests.
  • Document findings in a structured and actionable format for the product team.
  • Act as the "voice of the customer," ensuring customer pain points and goals are clearly understood.

2. Supporting Product Management


  • Deliver detailed, well-organized feedback summaries to the Product Manager to support decision-making.
  • Ensure no valuable customer insights are overlooked, allowing the Product Manager to focus on strategy and prioritization.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of how feedback is captured and shared.

3. Collaborating Across Teams


  • Partner with Customer Success, Sales, and Support teams to centralize and align customer feedback.
  • Standardize the format for communicating customer insights across the organization.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure customer insights are integrated into broader company strategies, including sales enablement, content creation, and marketing.

4. Data Consolidation and Analysis


  • Analyze data from various customer feedback channels to identify trends and patterns.
  • Create summaries, reports, or dashboards to inform the product roadmap and strategy.
  • Highlight key customer problems and opportunities, including:
    • Features and integrations
    • Solutions for daily challenges
    • Insights into actual users vs. potential buyers
    • Potential product and platform enhancements
Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience: 2+ years in a similar role, such as Product Operations, Customer Insights, Customer Success, or Product Research.
  • Skills:
    • Strong ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative customer data.
    • Excellent English communication and documentation skills to translate customer insights into actionable information.
    • Proficiency with tools like CRM systems, feedback platforms, or analytics dashboards (e.g., Salesforce, Gainsight, Tableau, etc.).
  • Mindset:
    • Customer-centric with a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors.
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple feedback streams.
    • Collaborative, working effectively with cross-functional teams.
