Job Summary/ Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Principal Workflow Automation Technical Product Manager to spearhead our workflow automation product strategy. In this senior role, you will define and drive the roadmap for our workflow automation solutions, ensuring that our digital products streamline and optimize business processes across the organization. Leveraging your deep technical expertise and strategic vision, you will lead cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy robust automation platforms that drive operational efficiency and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Roadmap:
- Define the long-term vision and strategic direction for our workflow automation product suite.
- Collaborate with business users across multiple business units to identify pain points, structure effective solutions, and define digital products and roadmaps that address diverse operational challenges.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with business goals and emerging market trends.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities for innovation in workflow automation.
- Define and monitor metrics to understand usage metrics and drive roadmap.
- Collaboration with Engineering Teams:
- Work closely with engineering teams to translate business requirements into practical, high-quality solutions.
- Facilitate effective communication and alignment between product management and engineering to ensure timely and successful product delivery.
- Provide ongoing feedback throughout the development process to address challenges and optimize product performance.
- Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Act as the primary liaison between technical teams, business units, and executive leadership.
- Facilitate clear communication, manage expectations, and drive alignment among diverse stakeholders.
- Lead regular product review sessions and leverage data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Operational Excellence:
- Establish and monitor key performance metrics to evaluate product efficiency, process impact, and user satisfaction.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement methodologies to optimize workflow processes.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Mentorship & Thought Leadership:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior product managers and technical teams in the field of workflow automation.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and within professional networks, establishing our leadership in digital transformation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years focused on workflow automation, process optimization, or related technical products.
- Proven experience managing complex, technical products at a strategic level.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and managing full product lifecycles.
