The person should have demonstrated exceptional skills to set the product vision and drive strategy working with cross-functional and leadership teams. In the Principal Product Manager role, you will be leading the ShareFile Work Management domain and provide thought leadership to drive the vision and roadmap for this area. Work Management encompasses the next generation features within ShareFile to help customers manage their work internally and with their clients. In this role, you will lead vision, prioritization, and delivery for the domain partnering closely with Go-to-Market to drive successful outcomes for Work management. You will also act as a PM leader, including mentoring other product managers and playing a critical role in aligning product teams and stakeholders across the portfolio. In this role, you will :  Customer Insight: Be the voice of the customer and ability to leverage user feedback to understand how users engage with the product and drive meaningful outcomes for business. Ability to use data to generate actionable insights and leverage insights to achieve product goals.Product Strategy: Developing and communicating a clear product vision and strategy aligned with the company's goals and market needs. Ability to define clear roadmap of prioritized features and initiatives that deliver against that vision. Be able to drive meaningful business outcomes by connecting product outputs to the goals of the company.Strong Business Acumen: Understanding ShareFile’s route to market and positioning, including market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer needs. Ability to align product strategies with business goals and make data-driven decisions.Requirement Definition: Working closely with cross functional leadership and product teams, customers, sales, and support teams to gather requirements and feedback, translating them into actionable product specifications and user stories.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment and successful product launches.Stakeholder Management: Engaging with key stakeholders, such as executives, customers, and partners, to gather feedback, address concerns, and maintain strong relationships.Product Evangelism: Serving as a product evangelist, internally and externally, by effectively communicating the value proposition and benefits of the product to customers, prospects, and the market.Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of cloud software development processes and technologies. Familiarity with agile methodologies, cloud computing, APIs, and other software-related concepts is beneficial.Communication and Influence: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior executives, customers, and external stakeholders. Strong presentation and negotiation skills are also important.Your background:   Bachelor's degree required within business administration, computer science, or similar field.8+ years of experience as a Product Manager in a similar fieldExperience working with SaaS and Technology, software applications in B2B or B2CExperience with data analysis, competitive analysis, business and market trendsPreferred Qualifications: Master’s degree is a plusExperience in a customer-facing role, consulting, customer success, support, sales or business development is a plus If this sounds like you and fits your experience and career goals, we’d be happy to chat.
