As a Product Manager within the Consumer and Community Banking team, you will lead the charge in managing discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap. You will own and develop a product backlog that supports the strategic roadmap and value proposition, while building frameworks to track key success metrics. Your role is crucial in managing relationships across engineering, architecture, and diverse product teams to drive integration and results.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap.
- Own, maintain, and develop a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition.
- Build the framework and track the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability.
- Manage key relationships by working with engineering, architecture, and diverse product teams across the enterprise to understand their needs, further integration with the recommendation engine, and drive results.
- Communicate effectively and often by sharing strategy, roadmap, progress, and insights broadly and systematically. Craft the narrative and cadence for different partner and stakeholder audiences.
- Act as a center for knowledge with deep curiosity about the digital product experience space and a desire to connect that curiosity and knowledge to the teams that can effect change.
- Solve technical and customer problems by asking questions, defining the problem, and understanding where our platform sits in the Chase ecosystem. Understand the technologies and approaches in use and those we should be using to drive our plans for the future for these technical products.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.
- Concrete, demonstrable experience configuring Pega applications, documenting APIs, and owning data management.
- Ability to write initiatives, epics, user stories, and defects to get them to Definition of Ready and Definition of Done.
- A customer-obsessed individual with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with engineers and technical partners, and an ability to translate customer needs into clear product delivery or technical requirements.
- Experience managing products for technical platforms and/or data-focused capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to drive change through influence and collaboration across a matrix organization in a highly dynamic environment. Good partnership, consulting, and influence skills.
- Experience working in an Agile environment and with Agile project methodologies and tools including JIRA. Ability to navigate JIRA, create issues, and understand more advanced capabilities such as creating dashboards and complex queries using JQL, and direct teams in how to use them.
- Minimum BA/BS degree required or relevant experience.

- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization.
- Software delivery skills including Scrum and the SDLC.
- Marketing experience.
- Marketing Technology (MarTech) expertise.
