What you need to know about the role :
As a Sr Product Manager in Global Product Solutions team, your role will be to expand the support for new APMs across the globe for PayPal and BrainTree.
As part of this, you will build and manage a platform that can scale globally and work with existing platform teams to extend the support for APMs.
This role will require working with Customers, Sales, Market teams, Payment schemes, processors across the globe.
These APMs could be based on card, ACH, Push Payment (A2A) or Wallet
Meet our team :

·You will collaborate with the Core Payments Platform, Merchant Platform, Risk, Compliance, Legal to bring the success to all businesses
You will act as Customer advocate of APMs to PayPal and BrainTree
Your day-to-day In your day-to-day role :
Work with different regional business and understand their needs and problems to be solved
Be the voice of the customer's needs for APM full scale processing
Understand the industry trends on payment processing and modernization and bring in the feedbacks
Drive the E2E solution from onboarding, integration, processing, reporting and servicing by partnering with other Platform Product Managers
Collaborate with Architects, Engineering Managers. Leads to come up with the solution
Partner with Legal, Risk, Compliance, Analytics teams to ensure the solution is built holistically
Help define the product strategy, roadmap, and prioritization of APM roadmap working with Lead Manager and Director
Define the Platform Requirements, work closely with Engineering for the successful launch of the capabilities within the budget and timeline
Prioritize the requirements and work closely with engineering every sprint
Make decisions on the prioritization and any other tradeoffs on the release
Define KPIs and gain agreement across the teams and ensure they are monitored and complied with
Provide documentation and other collaterals, educational materials for the business
Collaborate with Payment Processors, schemes and other banks in defining the solution and influence them for the best possible outcome for PayPal
What do you need to bring :
5+ years of experience in payments industry as Product Manager
Overall 12+ years of experience in Product Management/Engineering/Design or Architecture
Track record of having shipped multiple Product and Platform capabilities in the past
In depth knowledge of Payments Processing (eg., Card or Bank or any other APM)
Ready to collaborate and work through ambiguous situations
Experience working in matrixed environment with dependencies on multiple teams
Curiosity to learn new things
Excellent Communication and Presentation skills and be able to have technical conversations with Engineering teams
Proficient in Ideation and able to work with peers to develop the ideas
