 In this role, you will:


We are looking for skilled individual for the UK Payments IT Production Support Team (GPS IT department). The team is responsible for the ownership, management, maintenance & technical operation of critical global Payments IT applications and services. Working alongside IT Service Owners, Subject Matter Experts & Service Quality and Risk management leads, the work this team undertakes is in a mission critical environment across a breadth of technologies from vendor products to in-house developed IT services.With ever increasing real-time demands of our customers our key business drivers are the availability of our platform and the stability of service.


  • Co-ordination and hands-on support of production payments services, Security patching, Certificate renewals, Service Testing, Service Monitoring & Vulnerability Remediation to mitigate risk and ensure stability across the GPS estate.
  • To ensure that IT services meet all required business SLA’s, regulatory demands and adhere to group standard policies.
  • Support the Implementation and management of strategic tooling to support Target Operating Model objectives (Automation, Toil reduction, Incident reduction, Service stability increase, Adoption of modern technologies, Monitoring & Alerting).
  • Reviewing, designing and driving the implementation of service offerings, capability uplifts and process improvements and proactively highlighting opportunities to improve performance.
  • Supporting the planning & installation of new software releases provided by third party vendors.
  • Working closely with various stakeholders located in different places in the world.
  • Supporting the wider GPS IT team, contributing productively to team objectives, incident management, SME & IT Service ownership activities.
