Job Description
Product Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, sales, and customer support to ensure that EVA not only meets but surpasses the industry standards for virtual conferencing tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Vision: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap for EVA that aligns with company objectives and responds to market trends and user needs.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify new opportunities, competitive analysis, and user insights to guide product development.
- User Experience Focus: Work with UX/UI designers to ensure EVA provides an intuitive, engaging, and seamless user experience.
- Feature Development: Define product features and requirements based on client feedback, data analysis, and strategic goals. Prioritize features to maximize ROI and user satisfaction.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and other departments to drive product development and ensure timely releases.
- Client Engagement: Partner with clients to gather feedback and understand their evolving needs, ensuring EVA stays at the forefront of virtual event technology.
- Metrics & Analysis: Track key product metrics, analyse performance data, and iterate on product strategy as necessary.
- Project Management: Oversee the execution of product development projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Documentation & Training: Provide product documentation and training for internal teams and external users to optimize the adoption and usage of EVA.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5+ years of product management experience, preferably in SaaS or virtual event platforms.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, or related field; an MBA or similar advanced degree is a plus.
- Skills:
◦ Strong understanding of agile development practices.
◦ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
◦ Proficient in data analysis and experience using product analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mix panel).
◦ Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
◦ Ability to translate customer needs and business requirements into actionable product plans.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with software development processes, and experience working closely with technical teams.
- Customer-Centric: A deep commitment to understanding user needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Preferred:
• Experience working with event management tools or platforms.
• Knowledge of the current trends and technologies in the virtual conferencing space. Proven success in leading a product to market and growing user engagement.
