As a Product Manager within the Asset Management Spectrum Core Platform, you will be a strategic visionary, shaping and advancing our common technology platform. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, define and implement capabilities that serve the majority of our users, and promote the development of new capabilities. You will represent the voice of the customer, establish and execute product governance structures, assist with the development and integration of advanced product analytics capabilities, and lead change initiatives. Your role will also involve mentoring and developing talent within the product team. 


Job Responsibilities


  • Own the platform's strategic direction by deeply understanding its capabilities and aligning them with business goals. Act as an innovator, advocate, and marketer for the product and its vision at the executive level.
  • Drive the development of new capabilities in Spectrum through partnership with hundreds of stakeholders across multiple roles, seniority levels, and regions. Relentlessly prioritize development activities and align them with key result metrics, maintaining continuous communication with this widespread audience.
  • Represent the voice of the customer in a product-oriented, agile methodology. Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy; discovering, understanding, and prioritizing requirements and converting them to epics/stories that resonate with your scrum team. 
  •  Establish and execute product governance structures effectively, acting as a primary liaison between stakeholders and the team. Maintain product communication channels, conduct executive-level briefings, and provide periodic training as needed.
  • Assist with the development and integration of advanced product analytics capabilities. Enable teams to utilize data-driven insights to enhance decision-making and product development processes.
  • Collaborate with user experience designers and development teams to develop and implement platform standards. Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance the platform's capabilities.
  • Use data, metrics, and analytics to drive transparency and track successful deliveries.
  • Mentor and develop talent within the product team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Lead change initiatives and manage risks associated with product development and deployment to ensure platform stability and security.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills 


  • Technical Proficiency and Hands-On Product Management: Proven track record being a hands-on product manager with a strong foundation for understanding technology – both in terms of how to leverage in your day-to-day responsibilities and ability to closely work with your engineers on product capabilities. E.g., Use technology tools to perform data / process analysis or understanding technical limitations of delivering a particular user experience.
  • Technical and Analytical Expertise: Strong foundation in technology and analytics, with the ability to leverage these skills in strategic decision-making and product development. 
  • Strategic Vision and Innovation: Ability to establish and communicate a strategic vision for the platform, pushing past traditional boundaries to innovate and solve complex business challenges.
  • Exceptional Communication and Influence: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and partner with senior executives and cross-functional teams. Skilled in conflict resolution and facilitating strategic decision-making.
  • Results-Driven Mindset: A proactive, results-oriented approach with a strong desire to drive efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
  • Agile Methodologies: Extensive hands-on experience with Agile development methodologies and product management techniques.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge and experience in Asset Management with the ability to quickly adapt to new subject areas.
  • Customer and Market Insight: Strong understanding of customer needs and market trends to inform product strategy and ensure competitive advantage.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills


  • Agile / Scrum Certified (CSPO) preferred.
