Job Title: Product Manager – E-commerce Marketplace
We are seeking a dynamic Product Manager to lead and shape an online marketplace focused on renewable energy, particularly solar solutions. This role offers significant exposure to the cleantech ecosystem, including solar energy, and the opportunity to drive product development from ideation to launch.
Responsibilities:
- Define and prioritize the product roadmap, bridging business requirements and tech deliverables with a focus on business sense and prioritization.
- Create user stories, flows, and wireframes, collaborating with development and design teams to implement the roadmap.
- Own the end-to-end product development process from initiation to go-live.
- Work with Channel Management, Sales, Credit, Operations, Technical, and Compliance teams to design and refine products.
- Prepare and review Product Requirement Documents (PRD) and wireframes aligned with the company’s vision.
- Ensure optimal consumer experience externally and streamlined processes internally.
- Oversee product releases and schedules, ensuring on-time, high-quality launches.
- Establish metrics to measure product quality, user impact, and progress.
- Suggest innovative ways to expand the product portfolio and track industry trends.
- Develop dashboards and reports to monitor business health, channel partner profiles, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- MBA and B.Tech from a Tier-1 institute.
- 3+ years as a Product Manager in the e-commerce industry.
- Solid understanding of e-commerce systems and marketplace functionalities, including product sourcing, vendor management, pricing, order management, logistics integration, BRE configuration, payments, and customer support systems.
- Ability to define, prioritize, and execute work independently while balancing short- and long-term goals.
- Strong oral and written skills with the ability to communicate clearly and make data-driven recommendations.
- Thrive in a start-up environment, with the ability to own projects end-to-end and deliver results.
- Proven track record of delivering projects within scope, time, budget, and quality. Ability to work with CXO-level executives.
