Job Description

As a member of the Critical Event Management product team, the Product Manager, will be responsible for delivering world-class functionality on aggressive schedules that will be used every day by clients anywhere. This position will focus on solving a broad range of Critical Event Management use cases in numerous markets.
You will be part of a team delivering creative solutions to complex and nuanced problems.  A successful candidate will blend technical knowledge of REST APIs, access controls, and analytical skills with strong business judgement, be able to be highly effective under self-direction, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into high quality, easy-to use-products that users love.

What you'll do:


  • The Product Manager, Crisis Management will be responsible for the below job duties. The full scope of work may change at any time to meet market opportunities / demands.
  • Maintain product roadmap and backlog ownership of Everbridge’s Crisis Management product area
  • Manage scrum team backlogs for two India-based teams
  • Collaborate with fellow Product Managers (in US and Canada) to identify dependencies in their respective product areas and prioritize accordingly
  • Define and fully document all requirements in the form of Agile epics and stories
  • Evaluate and prioritize client-reported issues
  • Prepare and groom all project tickets with the Scrum Team
  • Host stakeholder review meetings to train internal stakeholders
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define go-to-market approach, helping teams understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target end-user
  • Collaborate on release notes, client-facing product documentation, and training material
  • Share weekly team progress with Everbridge Senior Management

What you'll bring:


  • 5+ years of overall product experience delivering SaaS-based products & working with clients and partners in a SaaS environment
  • 3+ years of direct experience as a product manager and product owner with SaaS software solutions that include web application, mobile application and public REST APIs.
  • Experienced collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, User Research, Product Marketing and Customer Success/Account Management
  • Excellent English communication (written and spoken) and presentation skills.
  • Strong experience analyzing large data sets and correlating information from different sources
  • Experience working with teams in various locations around the world.
  • Knowledge of Sales, Marketing, and software development processes in a fast-paced cloud software environment.
  • Experience with training internal stakeholders on use of software solutions for achieving use case goals.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and understand new and evolving web technologies.
  • Entrepreneurial, can-do approach coupled with an ardent desire to make a difference
  • Proficient in driving for results with a sense of accountability and ability to change pace and focus due to dynamic ecosystem.
  • Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience
