Job Description

Education


  • Degree, Post graduate in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent industry experience)

Experience


  • Proven experience with experience in Oracle Banking Trade Finance Products such as OBTF, OBTFPM, and OBDX applications.
  • Working experience in implementing Trade Finance Systems for medium to large scale Banking institutions.

Responsibilities


  • Design, develop, and maintain Oracle Banking Trade Finance products, including OBTF, OBTFPM, and OBDX applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Technical Skills


  • Knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
  • Java EE, Enterprise Beans, Servlets, Java Server Pages, JDBC, XML, Java Server Faces, RESTful web services.
  • Experience in best practices to be followed in Oracle 19c database (SQL, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions)
  • Familiarity with software development tools, such as Eclipse, Git, and JIRA.
  • Experience in Web Technologies JS, CSS

Functional Skills


  • In-depth understanding of trade finance products and processes, including letters of credit, guarantees, collections, and more.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to trade finance.
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, peer developers, and testers.
  • Experience in following best Coding, Security, Unit testing and Documentation standards and practices
  • Ensure quality of technical and application architecture and design of systems across the organization.

Soft Skills


  • Able to influence multiple teams on technical considerations, increasing their productivity and effectiveness, by sharing deep knowledge and experience.
  • Self-motivator and self-starter, Ability to own and drive things without supervision and works collaboratively with the teams across the organization.
  • Have excellent soft skills and interpersonal skills to interact and present the ideas to Senior and Executive management
