Product Designer - Development Environment

Job Decription:
 

• Relevant Experience: 5-7 Years
• Proven ability to collaborate with globally diverse teams to gather and refine project requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals and stakeholder expectations.
• Ability to work closely with R&D engineers to efficiently provision and optimize development and testing environments, driving successful project outcomes and fostering innovation.
• Expertise in coordinating with Digital Workplace teams to ensure timely provisioning and configuration of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), adhering to project timelines and user requirements.
• Strong background in partnering with cybersecurity teams to safeguard application lifecycles, ensuring compliance with security protocols and standards throughout development and deployment.
• Experience in identifying application owners within departments or tribes and ensuring meticulous documentation of applications in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) in collaboration with Service Owners and Service Managers.
• Proficiency in reporting to Product Owners and participating in weekly or bi-weekly sprint plan review meetings to ensure the timely completion of tasks.
• Demonstrated experience in managing software licensing, with a focus on ensuring full compliance with legal and organizational regulations.
• Managing and optimization of software build tools and environments
• Ensure the efficient provisioning and configuration of build environments to support development and testing activities.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and address any issues related to build tools and environments.
• Implement best practices for build automation and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Monitor and maintain the stability and performance of build environments.

Knowledge of Citrix technologies like XenApp, XenDesktop, NetScaler and Provisioning Services. Should also have knowledge of virtualized environments, storage systems, and networking technologies.  

Additionally, we will use JIRA for task tracking and completion, and Confluence for documentation and architectural references.
