Job Description

We're seeking a creative and customer-obsessed Product Designer to join our team and help shape the future of digital payments in India.
Key job responsibilities
- Design innovative and frictionless payment experiences for Amazon Pay's multiple use-cases, including Rewards, Automatic Payments, Post Transaction Experience, and Bill Payments.
- Develop and maintain scalable design systems that can be applied across various payment scenarios, adhering to Amazon's design principles.
- Utilize data-driven insights and conduct user research to inform design decisions, aligning with Amazon's culture of measuring everything.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate concepts throughout the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and organizational leaders to ideate and deliver best-in-class experiences for our customers and partners.
- Champion Amazon's customer-centric approach by advocating for user needs and translating insights into actionable design solutions.
- Contribute to key research studies to better understand user behaviors, needs, and motivations in the digital payments space.
- Work cross-functionally with teams across Amazon to ensure cohesive design implementation and alignment with broader company goals.
- 3+ years of design experience
- Bachelor's degree in Design or related field from a reputable institution
- 2+ years of experience in UX/UI design for consumer-facing products
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design rationale effectively
- 2+ years of mass-market consumer web / mobile products experience
- Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
