As a Product Delivery Associate in Payment Operations, you are trusted with enabling the delivery of products in a stable and scalable way. You will work with cross-function teams, build key relationships, and enable the product to continuously deliver value. You will partner with Operations, Sales, Product, Client Service & Implementations, and Technology in developing the build out and adoption of new, e-commerce products. Products including Real Time Payments, Embedded Banking and Mobility Payment Solutions. This role provides a unique opportunity to work in Payments, the fastest changing areas in the Financial Services industry, shaping how to operationally support new, e-commerce products emerging while partnering with the business to ensure the successful execution of the Payments franchise’s strategy.


Job responsibilities
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and clients to gather and document business requirements.
  • Analyze business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Create detailed documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and use cases.
  • Serve as a liaison between business units and IT teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of project goals.
  • Design solutions in collaboration with technical teams to meet business requirements and align with product strategy.
  • Develop and execute test plans, facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and tracking to ensure timely delivery of product features and enhancements.
  • Manage API integrations and ensure seamless connectivity with external systems and partners.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, identify and mitigate potential risks, and implement best practices for risk management and fraud prevention.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in implementing real-time payment solutions and provide guidance on payment protocols and standards.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Possess a minimum of 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.
  • Demonstrate performance in either product management or a relevant domain area.
  • Execute operational management and change readiness activities.
  • Experience in product deployment processes.
  • Prove a track record of partnering with business stakeholders to design and implement new processes, utilizing core technology and digital tools as enablers.
  • Partner well with other groups outside of the team’s reporting line, showcasing excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently across multiple aspects of the organization at all levels.
  • Apply a logical, structured approach to planning, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • Maintain solid awareness of controls and risk management protocols.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills


  1. Familiarity with real-time payment systems and protocols (e.g., ISO 20022).
  2. Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to payments (e.g., PSD2, NACHA).
  3. Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g.,Alteryx, Tableau). Experience with API integration and digital payment platforms.
  4. Proficiency in Excel and ability to clearly storyboard using PowerPoint is essential and story boarding skills
  5. Developed knowledge of the product development life cycle
  6. Operations experience within a Corporate & Investment Bank dealing with large scale operations and transformation agendas; direct experience in Payments is preferable
  7. Strong knowledge and experience of business architecture including development of Business Models and Target Operating models deployed on large scale organizations
