Job Title
Product Definition Analyst 3(1) Responsibilities & Key Result Areas Impact Analysis and Feasibility
- Understand and review business requirements for new CR/ product from Product Owner/marketing team/ customer
- Draw linkages between proposed change and other modules / objects affected by the proposed change and identify any gaps. Discuss with development team to understand technical Feasibility. In case of any technology limitations, discuss with customers/ product owners through meetings/ workshops.
- Provide inputs on sizing/ High Level Estimate, as required, to Lead Development.
- Provide Demos to customers along with marketing and product owners, as required
Requirement Analysis
- Review high level business requirements from Product Owner and identify any common needs with other customers, if required.
- Understand defined user story/ design from product owner and translate it to functionality. Review user story meets all customer requirements. Create a functional specification document.
- Modify/ update functional specifications through iterative discussions with Development team/ product owner through the course of product development.
- Review and validate fulfillment of functional requirements (outlined in CR/IR) in the design documents created by Development team.
- Guide development team through the course of product development to ensure adherence to functional requirements
Testing
- Share functional specifications with QA team.
- Review test cases/ test scripts developed during the end to end stage testing stage and test results to ensure alignment to functional requirements.
- Conduct functional testing and identify reasons for breakdowns.
- Validate issues raised by QA and discuss with developers.
- Provide inputs to release manager for creating release notes
- Support UAT testing to ensure that functional requirements are met
PTR Management/ Reporting
- Participate in defect triage meetings with development team and product team, as required
Stakeholder Management
- Provide weekly/ daily reports to stakeholders on test cases status, PTR status/ trends, justifications etc.
- Conduct daily meetings with team to identify roadblocks, issues and highlight to supervisor/ other R&D centers
- Highlight issues and potential risks to supervisor for resolution/ mitigation.
Process Improvement
- Study processes and identify process improvements. Share process improvement recommendation with supervisor.
- Monitor execution of process improvement initiatives by team
- Monitor adherence to process/ documentations/ naming standards by team.
- Suggest best practices that can be adopted by the team.
People Management
- Conduct technical trainings for team. Keep track of deliverables from team, resolve technical/ operational issues faced by the team.
- Promote team to share knowledge through share point.
- Conduct technical interviews.
- Engage with team. Resolve conflicts within the team.
Mentoring and Knowledge Sharing
- Conduct KT on an ongoing basis.
- Provide clarifications and mentor team on functional requirements/ technical issues. Guide new joinees across project lifecycle.
- Conduct technical trainings for the team/clients on new technologies/ aspects as and when required.
- Conduct demos/ trainings for new joinees during ramp up.
- Track updation of documents on internal wiki. Share knowledge on products and trends with teams.

Extensive experience in Business Analysis Mandatory to have extensive Travel Domain knowledge and experience Good understanding of Project Life cycle and SDLC Models Good Documentation skills Problem solving skills and learning attitude Good communication, analytical and presentation skills Inclined towards innovation
