VACANCY FOR PRODUCT & APPLICATION MANAGER (HEAD) – BU  - FOOD HEAT TRANSFER


  • The purpose of this job is to Nurture, Maintain and enhance product and application expertise for BU FHT by providing superior customer experience across life cycle
  • To Develop and lead a competent team of experts to support end customers, channels, field sales, operations, field service and after sales during lead to cash business cycle. Handle and be responsible for claims resolution.
  • Be the final escalation and decision-making point for applications, configurations, selection and costing of heat exchangers, so as to offer competitive product offerings for Indian FHT market.

The position / About the Job:


In this job the Product & Application Manager (Head) – BU – Food Heat Transfer would be responsible for:


Key Tasks and Responsibilities:


  • Leading the team of Product & application Engineers.
  • Developing competence required for business and growth
  • Decision-making of configuration and selections of products and applications.
  • Technology transfer from the central BU FHT team
  • Coordination with Operations for smooth execution of orders and invoicing.
  • Guiding the claims resolution activities and be the main investigating agency on claims.
  • Guide Field sales and others during lead to cash
  • Competition Analysis, Pricing analysis.
  • Contract review of product orders
  • Maintain application-based IB data and references.
  • Responsibility of two large key accounts directly as a Inside Sales Managers for quotations, clarifications, negotiations, orders, and executions ( without field sales direct involvement.)
  • Active participation during technical discussions and commercial discussions with customers along with Field Sales Manager.

What you can be?


Technical Skills:


  • Selection / Sizing of Heat Exchangers.
  • Able to make high end quotation
  • Good Technical knowledge of Heat Transfer and Thermodynamics.
  • Knowledge of Process like Distilleries, Ethanol, Edible Oil, Biodiesel, Oleochemical, API pharma, Biotech, ETP & ZLD Plants, Food Processing, Brewery and Beverages is added advantage.   

Education:


  • BE – Mechanical / Chemical degree from a reputed institute.

Experience / Knowledge


  • 5 to 10 years of experience in Sales / Support within Thermal designs and products.  Field Experience related to Pharma, Food, Brewery, Dairy Ethanol, Sugar & Starch Industry.
  • Experience of leading a small team is an added advantage.
  • Sales experience preferred.
  • Experience of dealing with various sales channels like end customers, contractors, distributors and key accounts.
  • Ability to deliver Impact full presentation to customers.

Knowledge


  • Person should have adequate knowledge of “Theory of Heat Transfer technology”, various type of Heat Exchangers like Gasketed Plate Heat Exchangers, Welded Heat Exchanger Etc
  • Process Knowledge of Distillery, Ethanol, Sugar, Brewery, Dairy, Pharma, Food Industry, Starch, Waste-Water, Edible Oil is added advantage
  • Knowledge about hygienic demands on various types of Heat Exchanger
  • Knowledge of Office 365 is an added advantage.
