Job Description:


We are seeking a test engineer for EMI/EMC Testing Engineer for automotive products. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the electromagnetic compatibility and interference standards of our products are met, contributing to the overall quality and reliability of our automotive solutions.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Perform comprehensive EMI/EMC testing on automotive connectivity products to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct harness validation and extract S-parameters for cables, connectors, and passive components to optimize performance.
  • Review and analyze circuit designs and PCB layouts, providing feedback and recommendations for improvements.
  • Work with leads to review customer designs to met the stringent quality standards.
  • Utilize strong technical skills in electronics product design to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing clear and concise reports and updates.

Preferred Skills:


  • Hands-on experience with EMI/EMC testing including ISO, IEC, and SAE.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Hands-on experience in various tools to review the layout.
  • Strong technical skills in electronics fundamentals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of years of experience in EMI/EMC testing and validation.

For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export  licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.  As such, applicants for this position – except US Citizens, US Permanent Residents, and protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) – may have to go through an export licensing review process.
